The Norman Area Quilters Guild was started in 2003 by a group of Founding Mothers who saw a void in the Norman area.  We had a quilt store and we had a lot of quilters, but there was no organized way for Norman area quilters to get together on a regular basis "to talk shop" and share with other area quilters.  We have grown from a small handful to over 120 members.
The Mission of the Norman Area Quilters Guild is to promote cooperation and exchange of ideas among quilters, provide educational opportunities to increase skill levels of guild members, promote quilting through classes, lectures, and community outreach, and to preserve the heritage of quilt-making.
If you are a beginner or an old hand we have a place for you so look around the web site and contact us if you have any questions.  We love new members!
